It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our dear mother, Lulu Mary Burton of Mississauga, Ont. on Feb. 28, 2012.
Born in Cape North, Victoria Co., April 23, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Norman J. and Flora A. MacPherson.
Lulu is survived by son, Edward (Lucille), Brantford, Ont.; daughters, Carol Burton, Sydney, Sheila Wilson, Halifax, Lynn Hyde, Mississauga, Ont.; a granddaughter, Rev. Tara Ann Wilson, Port aux Basques, Nfld. She is also survived by her brother, Douglas MacPherson, Baddeck.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eddy Burton; brothers, Malcolm MacPherson; daughter-in-law, Doreen; son-in-law, Rick Hyde.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Port Credit, Ont. at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
