The family of “Tina” Bacon is saddened to announce her passing on March 1, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her parents James and Rose Carmel Smith of Dublin, Ireland. She is survived by her husband Cliff of 42 years; her three daughters Glenda (David), Leah (Dave) and Barb (Pat); her grandchildren Meaghan, Liam, Brienna, Aiden and Kailum; siblings Connie, Annie, Angela, Carmel, David, Jimmy, Andrew, Kevin, Eddy, Jude and all their families in Ireland; her special friends Elaine (Colins) and family, Marcia and family as well as her favourite nurse Vi. Special thanks to Dr. Geyer of Moose Jaw, Dr. Keith of Saskatoon, Dr. Salim of Regina and to all the wonderful people at Home Care Palliative for their support in our time of need. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Moose Jaw Union Hospital Home Care/Palliative Care, 455 Fairford Street E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1H3. A Celebration of Tina’s life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at 2:30pm. Father Louis Kim Nguyen will officiate. Private family memorialization will take place at a later date.
