ROUSE - Hulda Opal Rouse, age 87 years, formerly of Simmie, SK, Salmon Arm, BC, and most recently, Lethbridge, AB, passed away in her sleep looking forward to the resurrection spoken of at Psalm 37 to a peaceful, paradise earth. Hulda is survived by her children, Karen (Barry) Fritz, David (Donna) Rouse, Perry (Janine) Rouse, Lyle (Colleen) Rouse, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Most of her life was enjoyed as a farm wife and mother. In between looking after kids and all other forms of farm animals, she gardened, tended her huge raspberry and strawberry patches, worked in the fields and baked bread good enough to be traded for cookies at school. Later, she and Dad retired to the Shuswap , enjoying the weather, travel, and daily visits to the coffee shop. Hulda also enjoyed many close friends within the congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses wherever she lived, and will be missed by all. Thank-you to everyone who had a hand in her care over the years.
