JOHNSON, COLIN ALLEN "SLIM" - July 8th, 1939 – March 5th, 2012 - Colin "Slim" Johnson passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on March 5th, 2012, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Madeline for 41 years. Cherished father of Debbie Geldart (Mark), Allen Johnson, and Roger Johnson (Leanne). Loving Poppa of Kyle and Tyler Geldart, and Alexa Johnson. Colin will be greatly missed by brother-in-law Fred Mahoney, Aunt Norma Johnson and Eddie. Slim was an Operating Engineer for 40 years with Local 793 (retired).
A celebration of Slims life will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, March 10th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
