
Foster Marple
Foster Kitchener Marple, age 68, High Crest Home, Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia, passed away on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012.
Born in Margaree Valley, he was a son of Margaret (Crowdis) and the late Kitchener Marple.
Besides his mother, he is survived by brothers, Norman (Joan) and family, New Glasgow, NS and Allan (Peggy) and family, Port Hood, NS; aunts, Alice Marple, Rosie Tompkins, and Ruby McEwen; uncle, Richard Marple and many cousins.
Besides his father he was predeceased by brother, Edward and sister, Joyce.
Foster resided with his parents until he entered the former McKaracher Nursing Home, Sherbrooke where for 29 years he was tenderly cared for by the nursing staff.
A Memorial Service will be held in the High Crest Home, Sherbrooke on Tuesday, March 13th at 2 p.m. for residents, staff, family and friends. The service will be conducted by Foster’s niece, the Rev. Meredith Marple and her husband, the Rev. Peter Smith. Interment will take place at a later date in the Congregational Cemetery, Margaree Centre, NS.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wilson United Church, Margaree Centre or to the Activity Fund, High Crest Home.
