February 25, 1931 - March 7, 2012. Passed peacefully away at Carbonear Hospital on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012, Henley Barrett, of Bishops Cove, at the age of 81. Predeceased by parents George and Edith and infant son Henley. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 58 years Florence; sons: Bill (Julia), Gerald (Mary), Paul (Janice); daughters: Barbara (Dave Barrett), Doreen (Larry Tucker); grandchildren: Michael, Stephanie, Pamela, Jessica, Edward, Christina, Victoria, Sarah and Colleen; great-grandchildren: Alexis, William and Logan; brothers: Max (Nellie), George (Betty), Nathan (Barbara); sisters: Evelyn (Cec Bishop), Marina (Edward Singleton, deceased), Ruby (Joe Crane); in-laws: Joe Riggs (deceased Joan), Llewellyn Riggs (Jenny), Will Riggs (deceased) (Donna), Newman Riggs (Grace), Sally (Bob Luedee) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay. Visitation Thursday 7 - 9 , Friday 10 - 9 and Saturday from 10 - 1:30. Funeral Service will take place 2 p.m., Saturday, March 10 at St. John the Evangelist Church with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Bishop’s Cove.
