HORVEY - Dennis - July 7, 1948 - March 6, 2012. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Horvey, loving husband, dad and grandpa, at the young age of 63. Dad joins his parents (Oliver and Margaret), an infant brother, and in-laws (Brock, Phyllis and Gord). He will be forever missed by his wife Sharyn, son Mike (Kim), daughter Lisa, and by his pride and joy, his grandsons Daniel and Adam, and his buddies Joleen and Bear. Dad also leaves behind his sister and brothers Diane (Don), Ivan (Laurie) and Neil, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dad's happiest times were spent with his family, travelling, camping and being on the land. Dad was always ready to drag us kids around behind the boat or kick stones at the farm. He loved sitting around a fire telling stories with the people he loved, or sharing a bowl of ice cream and cereal with his grandsons. He loved walking the beach with his wife of 44 years.
