It is with saddened hearts the family of the late Bessie Gladys Smith, age 92, from Sunnyside, announce her passing at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on
March 8, 2012. Predeceased by her parents, James and Martha Snook; husband, Moses; son, Jim; brothers, George (Minnie), Norman (Marnie), Charles (Alma) and Jake (Ida). Leaing to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her children, Livy Green (Calvin- deceased), Bertha Crocker (Clem) and George (Angela); 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grand-daughters and also a large circle of other family and friends. Rested at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Sunnyside from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gary Hussey, took place on Saturday, March 10, 2012 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour, Random Island.
