Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, March 11, 2012, Daisy A. Roberts of Brigus, aged 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Roberts, daughter Elizabeth, son William, parents Herbert & Isabella (nee March) Spracklin, brothers: Ernest, Lewis, Ralph & Thomas, sister Maud Kelly and special nephew, Herb Spracklin. Leaving to mourn her nieces: Glenys Butler (Harold), Mary Lou Norris, Maud Stevens, Hilda Rosko, Ruth Cornell, Daphne Hynes, Joan Murphy & Julia Pintaric; nephews: Ralph (Sherry), Calvin (Lorraine) & Ralph (Pearl) Roberts; also a large number of great nephews and nieces and their families; as well as many dear friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., 2-5 & 7-9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. Funeral to take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel, Brigus with interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Brigus.
