
Ronald ("Ronnie") Wade DeBay
DeBay, Ronald (“Ronnie”) Wade – New Glasgow. It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie DeBay, 44, on Monday, March 12, 2012 at his home in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Ronnie was born on June 10, 1967 in Truro, and was the son of Charlie DeBay (Edythe) and the late Carole (Kent) Spencer (Marlyn). Ronnie is survived and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Darlene Parent, his children Sydney, Austin, Keven (Christine) and Jason (Kristi). Ronnie will be missed by his step children Evynne Sop (Danielle), Jessica Sop (Mike), and Jennifer Sop. Ronnie is also survived by his sisters Peggy (DeBay) Jeffers (Kelly), Kim Roode (Carl), brothers Wayne DeBay (Emma), Darrell DeBay (Jane), and Mark DeBay (Kim). Ronnie had two grandchildren, Delilah and Brenden. Ronnie is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Ronnie’s greatest joy was the time spent with his wife, children, family and friends. His career was spent with Purolator for the past 23 years where he will be missed by many friends, co-workers and customers. His laughter was contagious as was his smile and love. His passing will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with funeral service on March 18, 2012 at 3 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East at a later date.
