Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, March 10, 2012, Louisa Delaney of Broad Cove, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: John; son: Clarence; daughter: Lorraine; son-in-law: Jim Wareham; parents: James and Florence Whalen; sisters: Bernadette, Myrtle, Madeline and Maria; brothers: Ormond and Herbert. Left to mourn, five grandchildren: Lonnie (Wanda), Major Louise, Gloria (Mark), Capts. Jennifer (Bradley) and Curtis; four great-grandchildren: Jenna, Cameron, Caden and Brandon; daughter-in-law: Gloria Delaney (Norman), Job’s Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev .Roscoe Cole conducted the Funeral service on Tuesday, March 13 at Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment took place in the United Church Cemetery, Broad Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery, Broad Cove or to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
