LAIDLEY, Stella J. – Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 16, 2012 in the presence of her family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Stella J. Laidley (nee Stack), age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas J., daughter Patricia Laidley–Hass (Mississauga) and infant son Ronald. Leaving to mourn her sons: Thomas of St. John’s, Wayne of Calgary, Brian (Barb) of South River; daughters: Barbara of St. John’s, Carol Seymour (Nelson) of St. John’s, Peggy Laidley (John) of Toronto, Janet Laidley of St. John’s; special daughter-in-law Frances Laidley of St. John’s; grandchildren: Ian, David, Carolyn, Ryan, Erin, Jared, Kelsey, Tyler, Janine, Vanessa, Jason, Justine, Chantal, Kayla, Craig, Kristyne and Chad and great-grandchildren: Ainsley and John and numerous family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m.. Funeral Mass of Christian burial to take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 from Corpus Christi Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
