Alice Marie Paul, 52, Waycobah First Nation, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck.
Born in Baddeck, she was a daughter of the late Roderick John and Mary (Isadore) Pierro. She was a member of Blessed Kateri parish, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Waycobah.
Surviving are daughters, Evelyn Pierro, Danielle Paul, Dominique Paul, April Paul, all of We’koqma’q; sons, Clifford Pierro, Halifax; Alexander Paul, Douglas Jr. Paul, Stephen Paul, Roderick Paul, Charles Paul, all of We’koqma’q; sisters, Karen Pierro, Wagmatcook; Lora Pierro, Ont; Ida Pierro, Sydney; Wanda Philips, Whycocomagh; brothers, Patrick Pierro, Halifax; Edward Pierro, Whycocomagh; Kenneth Pierro, Wagmatcook; nine grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brother, Melvin; sister, Mary.
Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in the family residence, 136 Subdivision Rd., We’koqma’q. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday from Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, We’koqma’q, with Fr. Robert McNeil officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
