WHITLOCK, GEORGE ALBERT (WWII Veteran RCAF) - Peacefully on March 21, 2012 at St. Lawrence Lodge with his family by his side; George Albert Whitlock at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Norma Jean Richardson, who predeceased him March 11 of this year. Loving father of Eleanor Whitlock (Bruce Hynes) of Brockville, Angela Knights (Gord) of Cardinal, Anne Whitlock (Bob Ross) of Moncton NB, and Alison Whitlock (Pat Hopkins) of Osgoode. Cherished by his grandchildren Carl, Susan, Audrey, Chris and Sarah and by great-granddaughter Lillianna. Predeceased by a daughter Lucy in infancy. Also survived by sisters Isabelle McKinley, Betty Hemmingway and by a brother Albert McKinley. Predeceased by brothers Vere and Elder Whitlock and Harry McKinley.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville on Friday from 11am until 1 pm when a celebration of George's life will be held in the Chapel followed by a reception. Cremation will take place at Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland with interment at a later date.
