Surrounded by her family, Elizabeth Brazil (nee McCarthy) of Spaniard's Bay, age 51 years, died peacefully at Carbonear General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by their infant daughter Jennifer, daughter-in-law Tiffany Brazil, father Edward McCarthy and two brothers Jack and Richard McCarthy of Carbonear. Leaving to mourn, her loving husband Cyril; daughter Laura; sons: Jonathan (Jessie), Matthew (Samantha), Mark (Christina); mother Grace McCarthy; father and mother-in-law Matthew and Marina Brazil; precious grandsons Lucas and Noah, also close to her heart Jaxson and Felicity. sisters: Bride (Clarance Thomas), Margie (Bob Kelland), Marcella (Wayne Butt), Sheila (Tom Duggan), Edwina (Carl Noseworthy), Helena (Scott Burden); brothers: Pat (Louise), Frank (Audrey), Reg (Brenda), Billy (Clare); sisters-in-law: Sheila (Dave White), Agnes (Peter Lane); brothers in-law: Paul (Elizabeth), Brian (Mary), Damien (Edwina), Matthew (Marilyn), Ron (Joy). Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay.
