1925 - 2012– Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family - 6 children, nieces, nephews, sons and daughters-in-law and many of her grandchildren at the Placentia Health Care Center, at the age of 86, on Sunday March 25, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Patrick (1985), as well as her mother and father Anna & Alex Slade, 11 brothers and sisters and her precious great-grandson Joey Callahan Cardinal. Leaving to mourn her loving family daughters Donna (Clem Murphy), Marie (Bob Rice), Anna (Pat Kelly), and Maggie, sons Jack (Donna) & Pat; fifteen grandchildren, Donnie, Diana & Clem Murphy, Bobby, Stephanie & Jack Rice, Paddy, Megan, Lisa, Charlie & Ashley Kelly, Jessie & Jackie Callahan, Pat & Mitchell Callahan; 4 great-grandchildren, Tiffany Callahan, Pat Callahan IV, Abby Fulkerson & Max Callahan; also leaving to mourn one sister Anna Mordan in Pennsylvania U.S.A., plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday March 27 from 10:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
