GALLANT, SHIRLEY-ANN - Shirley-Ann Gallant, 53, of Grand-Barachois, passed away at the Moncton Hospital surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, March, 28th, 2012. Born December 15th, 1958 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Medric and Dora (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Prior to her illness she was a former employee with Westmorland Fisheries. She will be greatly missed by her husband: Camille; two sons: Michael Gallant at home, Mario Girouard of Moncton; four sisters: Alice Cormier (late Aquilla), Catherine Williams Brun (late Laurant and Donat) both of Cap-Pelé, Aline Dupuis (late Roger) of Grand-Barachois, Doreen Melanson (Danny) of Shediac; a brother: Emery (Anita) of Grand-Barachois; as well as several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents she is predeceased by four sisters: Judy, Lorraine, Louise and Léona.
By personal request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Henri R.C. Church, Barachois, on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care).
