WEBB, NORMAN CHARLES - 1932 - 2012 - Norman Charles Webb of Fredericton, NB passed away peacefully at his home on April 6th, 2012. He was the son of the late Elliott Ray Webb and Dora Vivian (McCleary) Webb, of Tracy, NB.Norman is survived by his wife, Joanne (Clewley) Webb; sons and daughter-in-laws, Timothy and Cynthia (Kenny)Webb of Fredericton, NB and Terrance and Kimberly (Young) Webb of Wolfville, NS; grandchildren, Corey Webb (Jamie Stavert) of Fredericton, NB and Samuel (Sarah Mocherniak) and Hannah Webb all of Wolfville, NS as well as his brother, Andrew Webb of Moncton, NB. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Donald Webb of Toronto, ON and Ivan Webb of Dorchester, NB and sister, Shirley Webb (Ellsmore) of Newport, Maine. Norman worked for many years at CBC Radio as a building technician in Fredericton until his retirement in 1992. He was a devoted husband, father and a terrific grandfather. A man who enjoyed a simple life filled with the love, caring, understanding and compassion towards others. Norman truly touched the lives of many people!
A memorial service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB (458-9170) on Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at 2:00 pm. The Ven. John Sharpe will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
