Passed peacefully away with his loving family at his side, Derek Hogan age 50 years. Predeceased by father Frank Hogan, father-in-law Wilfred Mercer, brother Ray Hogan and brother-in-law Jerome Lawlor. Leaving to mourn his long time friend and loving wife Wanda; his children: Jamie, Jennifer (John) and Jason (Rosalie); mother, Anne Hogan; mother-in-law, Margaret Mercer; brothers: David, Sean (Lauralee), and Charlie (Bernice); sisters: Debby (Harold) and Madonna; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Bernadine, Wilfred, Coreen, Ernest, Barbara, Darren, Rita and Kim; nieces and nephews: Miranda, Alicia, Melissa, Nicholas, Tyler, Justin, Nichole, Brandon, Austin, Samantha, Jordan, Erin, Christopher, Chad, Nikita, Matthew and Michael; God-children, Samantha and Austin; great nieces and nephew: Ray, Brittany and Halley; and also special friend Kenny Byrne. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 11, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
