GIROUARD, NORMAND - 1929 - 2012 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Normand Girouard, at the age of 82, on April 4th, 2012 in Montreal. Family man, he had a great love for all who shared his life. He leaves to mourn his wife Stella, his children; Gary (Suzanne), Ginette (Bob), Louise (Michel), Lynne (Jean) and Bobby, his nine grandchildren, his brother Émery, his sisters Alice and Dorina, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église Bouctouche, on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Thursday from 11:30 to 12:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Bouctouche on Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at 1:00pm. Interment will be in the Saint-Pierre Cemetery in Cocagne. In Normand`s memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
