Nov. 19, 1936 - April 6, 2012. Passed away peacefully at his family home on Bell Island, N.L., with his loving family at his bed side. Predeceased by parents Esau and Maysie. Leaving to mourn the love of his life Shirley; one son Tony (Lynn), BC; two daughters: Bonnie (Wade), Corner Brook, N.L. and Tina, Cole Harbour., N.S.; four grandsons and five granddaughters; one brother Robert (Joan), Glenwood, N.L.; four sisters: Win, Gloria and Doreen, Portugal Cove, N.L., Audrey, Corner Brook, N.L.; sisters-in-law: Helen Delaney, Rita Proulx, Kitchener, Ont. and Eleanor King, Cambridge, Ont.; brothers-in-law: Ambrose (Madonna), George Pitts, Kitchener, Ont. and John (Karen), Drumbo, Ont. Special thanks to our family paramedic Tina who brought him home to his beloved Bell Island. Thanks to our Nurses (EH), Allison, Paulette and Heather and caregiver Valarie who kept everything in place and the family grounded, you are all angels on earth. Cremation has taken place and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at St. Michael's Parish Church, Bell Island at 2 p.m. Rev. Ron and Rev Gary officiating. Reception to follow at St. Michael’s Hall.
