DOHERTY, ORA - Mr. Ora Dewitt Doherty of Roachville passed away on April 7, 2012 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late James B and Nina R. (Parlee) as well as the husband of Phyllis (Hayes).Ora Dewitt is survived by his daughter Dawn Gard of Sussex and his son in law Steven Gard of Grand Lake; two grandchildren: Kody and Aaron; as well as several nieces and nephews.Ora was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is predeceased by his sisters: Gertrude “Dolly” O’Brien and Helen Norrad and his brother Roy Doherty.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). There will be no visitation or service as per Ora’s request.
