Peacefully, at the Garden Home in Charlottetown, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 9, 2012, of Jessie May Matheson (nee Bears) of Charlottetown and formerly of Brooklyn, in her 91st year.
Devoted and loving wife for 65 years of the late William E. Matheson. Loving mother of Carole Blachford, Ontario; Linda (Bob) Albert, Flordia; Joyce (Bruce) Raymond, Charlottetown; and Susan (Paul) Carmichael, of Stratford; and Jamie (George Clark), North Wiltshire. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Phyllis MacDonald and son-in-law, Douglas MacMillan. Devoted grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sons, Bill, John and daughter Anne Heise; granddaughter, Erica and infant grandson Jeffrey.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday 6:30-8:30 p.m. only.
