Isabel O’Connell, 86, passed away peacefully at Melville Lodge on April 11, 2012.
She was the devoted daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Gillis) O’Connell.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Charles and sister-in-law, Grace (Moreshead) O’Connell.
Isabel is survived by her sister-in-law, Pearl (MacDonald) O’Connell; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
She was a dedicated nurse and worked her entire career at St. Rita’s Hospital until her retirement.
As per her wishes, she has been cremated and a private interment and graveside service will be held at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery.
