Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on April 9, 2012, Mr. Thomas Frances Dempsey of Clarke’s Beach, aged 77 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Bertha Dempsey (nee Orr), stepfather: Joseph “pop” Spinelli, brothers-in-law: John Malinowski and Al Ohison. Leaving to mourn wife Mabel Dempsey (nee Mercer); sisters: Gloria Malinowski, Ann Ohison; brother Joseph (Mary Lou) Dempsey; sister-in-law Freda Ryan; brother-in-law Lorenzo (Hazel) Mercer, and a large circle of other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation: Thursday and Friday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday 10 - 12 Noon. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday April 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Bay Roberts. Interment in the Central United Cemetery, Bay Roberts.
