The family of the late Anne Philpott would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our extended family, friends and colleagues who supported us with flowers, food, cards, e-messages, phone calls, donations and numerous masses offered in her memory. Many thanks to all who visited and/or traveled to be with our family at the funeral home and attended the funeral mass in Gander. Such acts of thoughtfulness and kindness offered great comfort to our family.

A word of thanks to Stacey’s funeral home for their professional courtesy extended to family and friends, and to all who offered words of encouragement and remembrance at her wake.

Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Church community and Father Salas and Father Barker - all of whom contributed to the beautiful Mass of Christian Burial. Our gratitude and thanks go to the RCW for their tributes to Anne, including attendance at the Rosary, providing the honor guard at her funeral, and hosting the generous reception that followed her burial. Mom would have been so proud given that her church and the RCW were so important throughout her life. Thank you as well to Father Leonard for administering the Last Rights.

To Madonna Ryan, Anne’s oldest and dearest friend, your spiritual support leading the RCW Rosary and your ongoing moral support to Tom and family is greatly appreciated and will be remembered. Thanks as well to her daughters, Betty and Dorothy (Anne’s goddaughter) for your kindness and assistance to the family and with arrangements to return Anne to Gander for the funeral and her final resting place.

A note of gratitude is extended to her caregivers: Rita Pearce of Gander, the staffs of the Protective Community Residences (bungalow #2), Long Term Care and Dr. Peter Callahan in Corner Brook for the care and compassion shown to Anne.
