It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helena Margaret Park announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on April 11, 2012 at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Olive Sheppard, Dorothy Sheppard of Corner Brook, NL, Mona Wheeler of York Harbour, NL, Christina Gilbert (Raleigh) of Lark Harbour, NL, sons: Russell (Louise) of Halifax, NS, Derek (Helen) of Lark Harbour, NL, William (Shelia) of Fort McMurray, AB, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, sister Molly Young of Corner Brook, NL, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Robert (1995), brothers: William, Harvey, Richard, Chesley Sheppard, sisters: Martha Hynes, Prudance Pardy, Annie Pennell, sons-in-law: Fredrick Wheeler, and Charles Sheppard. Visitation has taken place at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 7-9 P.M., and will take place on Friday April 13, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place from the St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Saturday, April, 14, 2012 at 2 P.M. with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
