We regret to announce the passing of Wayne Cousins, 131 Rateau St., Sydney Mines.
Wayne passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was the son of Adeline (McGean) Cousins and the late James Cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Velvet (Swan); his sons, Breton, Mackenzie and Carter; his brother, Ernie (Marlene) Cousins; his sisters, Donna (Philip) Marinelli, Donna Foote and Coralee (Maynard) McGuigan.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his infant daughter Cassandra.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will take place Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or with Father Peter McLeod officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Donations may be made to C.B. Palliative Care of a charity of choice.
