Anne Lewis of 15 Southview Ave., Belleville, Ont., passed away peacefully on April 13, 2012. She was 92.
Born in Sydney, N.S., she was the daughter of the late John MacPherson and Annie Morrison.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, Ian Lewis, brothers, Angus, Roderick, George and her sister, Catherine.
She is survived by her children, Allister (Janice) Kelowna, B.C., Jane, Belleville, Ont., Kenneth (Sheena) Brighton, Ont., and Richard, Belleville, Ont. Also survived by her grandchildren, Katherine, Ian, Brian and Eric, all of Edmonton, Alta., Aneesha, Sean and Natasha, all of Brighton, Ont.; and her many nieces and nephews.
A lifelong resident of Sydney, Anne moved to Belleville in 2003 to be closer to her family.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Sydney at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
