It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edward Alan Mikalishen.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Diane, and children Erin & Thomas; mother June Burrows, as well as brothers and sisters Peter (Susie), Brian (Dar), David (Sandy), Carol (Mel) Kitson, Kathy (Jim) Lafferty, Roger (Lynette), with numerous nieces and nephews, and uncle Michael Mikalishen.

He is predeceased by his father John Mikalishen and step-father Norm Burrows.

Ed worked 38 years at Finning in Kamloops. His passions were snowmobiling, ATVing, and the outdoors. Ed gave many years of service to the Kamloops Snowmobile Association and Junior Forest Wardens. His greatest love was his family.

All are invited to attend the service at St. Paul's Cathedral, 360 Nicola Street, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012.

If friends desire, they may make a donation in Ed's name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
