Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2012, Joseph B. Power formerly of Caplin Cove, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Margaret, brother: William; sisters: Dorothy and Mary Ellen; brothers-in-law: James Power and John McCarthy; sister-in-law: Clair Power. Left to mourn, spouse: Irene Robbins, Pentecostal Senior Citizen’s Home, Clarke’s Beach and her children: Jean (Graham) Tilley, June (James) Strong, John (Lori), Junior and Judy (Harry) Rogers and their families; one son: Scott (Susan) and their children: Kara, Brady and Cody and Scott’s mother: Linda and her son: Tony (Melissa) and children: Rebecca and Nathan; one brother: Benedict; three sisters: Theresa (Will) Power, Marie (Anthony) Pinsent and Lillian McCarthy; brother-in-law: Andrew Oliver; residents and staff of Pentecostal Senior Citizen's Home, Clarke's Beach; also a number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay. Cremation has taken place. Fr. Cesar Derit conducted the funeral service on Saturday, April 21 at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay.
