THOMPSON, NORMAN B. "TOMMY" - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital on April 25, 2012, at the age of 84 years and 10 months, Mr. Norman B. "Tommy" Thompson passed away.
He was the husband of late Doris L. (Whitehouse) Thompson. He is survived by his sons ; James B. (Wendy Walker) of Vancouver, BC, John A. (Rina Morneault) of St-Jacques and Brian D. (Nicole Bérubé) of Edmundston; his grandchildren; Scott, Michael, Laicie, Crystal, Kristina, Kurt, Lee, and a brother, Gerald of Merigomish, NS.
The funeral service will be held in the St.John’s Anglican/St. Paul’s United Church in Edmundston, Wednesday, May 2, at 11 am. Visitations will take place at the J.B. Côté & son Funeral Home, 160 Church Street, Edmundston, from 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday in the evening, and, Wednesday from 9 to 11 am, until time of the funeral. Donations to the Relay for Life (Canadian Cancer Society) will be appreciated. Mr. Thompson was retired from Fraser Papers and a veteran of World War I, also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25. Funeral Direction by J.B.
