CRAWFORD, JEAN MARGARITE, RN - 1922 - 2012 - Jean M. Crawford, RN, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, April 28th, 2012. Born in Sussex, NB on July 24th, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Bertha (Morrow) Gulliver. Jean was a long time member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Riverview, and enjoyed knitting, quilting, crosswords, games, and travelling. She was a member of the Moncton Hospital Nurses Alumni. She is survived by daughters Janice McKenney (Carl) of Caledonia, ON, Joan Caldwell (Bob) of Sackville, NB, Norma Robichaud (Pat) of Moncton, son Brent (Susan) of Moncton, grandchildren Krista McKenney (Sean), Sarah McKenney (Kristian), Sharon Watson (Gerry), Michael Robichaud (Ashley), Jordan Caldwell (Hélène), Colin McKenney (Emily), Carolyn Miller (Nathaniel), Brian Crawford, Beth Crawford (Jordan), sister Ruth Gulliver, sister-in-law Rosella Crawford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband Norval “Bud” Crawford, sister Eloise Howe and brother Glendon Gulliver.
Friends will be received at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm with Rev. Brent Ham presiding and a reception to follow. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Dr. Christine Telfer and the nurses and staff of 3600 wing of The Moncton Hospital for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, or St. John the Baptist Anglican Church would be appreciated.
