Tooker, Douglas LeRoy, 72, of Lakeville, Kings Co. died April 30, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Outram, N.S. he was the son of the late Ludlow & Lillian (Kempt) Tooker. Doug (Pappa) loved and lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His passions were wood working & gardening with his loving hands. He loved taking his life long partner, Lillian (Brewster), for drives over to the shore to watch the sun sets and have picnics. At Christmas time, Douglas became Santa for the young ones and the young at heart.
Douglas is survived by his wife Lillian (Brewster); daughter, Deborah (Keith Brothers) of Harbourville; sons, Allen of Berwick, Laurie (Michele) of Lakeville, Gary (Wendi) of Torbrook, Michael (Traci) of Kentville; brothers, Allen of New Brunswick, Herb (Jackie) of Ontario; sister, Judith (Don) McCarthy of Halifax; 15 grand children, 8 great grand children. He is predeceased by a son, Douglas. No visitation or funeral service by family request.
