BAXTER, Mervyn - On May 1st, 2012 Mervyn (Merv) Baxter of Westlock, AB (formerly of Swift Current, SK.) passed away at the Westlock Continuing Care Centre at the age of 96 years. Merv is survived by his 2 daughters Marjory Lynn Tranberg of Westlock, AB and Fay Jehrbo of Fredericia, Denmark; 2 granddaughters, Natasha Nisbet of Edmonton, AB; and Latanya (Wade) Neufeld of Westlock, AB; 2 grandsons, Jason (Trine) Jehrbo of Denmark and Robin (Egle Saladzinskaite) Jehrbo of Denmark; 3 great granddaughters, Myrissa Neufeld of Westlock, AB, Camille and Dicte Jehrbo of Denmark, 1 great grandson Nickolas Jehrbo of Denmark, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Harry & Myra Baxter, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 daughter Merla and his wife Olive (2002). Merv’s great love of his family will always be remembered. He was well liked and respected by all those who knew him and will be sadly missed by all. His ashes will be scattered at a later date in Swift Current, SK.
