Parker, Joan (Knight) - 78, Truro passed away peacefully December 21, 2009 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Toronto, ON, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Lilian (Stock) Knight. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ira; daughters, Kim (Paul), Morin Heights, Quebec; Tracy (David), Burlington, ON; son, Peter (Rebecca), Vancouver, B.C.; grandchildren, Laura, Emma, Lucas, Kate, Benjamin, Lauren, Christopher; brother, David (Wendy), Vancouver, B.C.; several nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 29th at 2:00 pm in St. Andrews United Church, Truro with Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating.
