Julienne LeBlanc
LeBLANC, JULIENNE - Julienne LeBlanc, 99, of Residence O’BonsSoins, wife of the late Yvon LeBlanc (1995), formerly of Ohio du Barachois, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born January 30, 1913 in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Augusteand Josephine (LeBlanc) Doiron. A devoted, intelligent, fun-loving person Julienne was the happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Her community involvement included participating in the Club d’Âge d’Or, les Dames Chrétiennes, Club Athlétique de Shediac and l’Université du 3e âge. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, playing cards and also watching and feeding the birds in her backyard.
Julienne will be greatly missed by a daughter, Gloria Robichaud (Ronald) of Shediac; three sons: Edgar (Patsy) of Boudreau West, Eric (Marlene) of Shediac and Guy (Hélène) of Rimouski; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a daughter in-law, Jacqueline LeBlanc of France; a son in-law, Robert Cormier of Point du Chêne; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a daughter, Jeannette Cormier (1990); a son, Philippe (2007); four sisters: Ida Belliveau, Beatrice Boyce, Sr. Caméllice Doironand Sr. Germaine Doiron; two brothers: Edgar and Léandre.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, May 6 from 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, May 7, from 1p.m. until time of departure (1:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on MondayMay7, 2012 at 2p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
