BOUDREAU, LORRAINE - Lorraine Melanson Boudreau, 85, of Villa Providence, Shediac passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her residence. Born November 15, 1926 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruphine Boudreau. She is survived by a daughter Bella Caron (Lewis) of Hartford, CT; one son, Jean-Guy Melanson (Claire) of Unionville, CT; two sisters: Albertine Boudreau of Moncton and Anita Haché of Fredericton; four grandchildren: Daryl, Lynn, Daniel and Brian; ten great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Alcide Melanson, four sisters: Léah, Edna, Bella and Geneviève and four brothers:Léandre, Olivier, Félix and Eugène Boudreau.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 396, Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, May 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, May 7, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Monday May 7th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Lorraine, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital (oncology) would be appreciated.
