In Loving Memory of Francesco (Frank) Russo It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend; Frank Russo on November 17, 2007 at the age of 51 years. Frank is survived by his daughter Renata (Tanner), his mother Emilia, brothers; Rocco (Cheryl), Aldo, and Sam (Teresa), sisters; Anna (Tony) Marchese and Sylvia Russo (Rick), ex-wife Robin-Rae (Mike) as well as many more nieces nephews and friends. Frank was predeceased by his father Luigi in 1993. We all know that Frank would be happy to be reunited with his father again. Frank was born in Rende, Italy on August 7, 1956. He then immigrated with his family to Kamloops in 1960 and was quite proud when he finally became a Canadian Citizen. Frank was an executive chef in Kamloops for many years and was very well respected amongst his peers. One of his happiest moments in life was the arrival of his daughter Renata with Robin-Rae in 1987. Frank always enjoyed gardening around the house, fishing with friends and family, playing with food, relaxing on Sundays with his cat Ringo and of course his the accomplishment of renovating his home. Frank was a caring person who will always be missed by those who knew and loved him. Prayers will be recited at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Sacred Heart Cathedral 255 Nicola St., followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Rev. Father Derrick Cameron will be celebrating.
