WESTVILLE - Viola Evelyn “Vi” (Rundle) Maloney, 82, Westville passed away on Friday , May 4, 2012 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Grant) Rundle.
Vi was a member of St. Paul United Church. She loved to laugh, liked listening to fiddle music and going to local dances and greatly enjoyed her many walks with her dear friend Mary Fraser. She was a long time and faithful house keeper to the Whitman family for over 40 years.
Vi is survived by her brothers, Grant Rundle, Westville and Jim Rundle, St. Catharines, Ont.; nieces, Beverley Popovic, Arleen Fleury and Helen Green and nephew, Sandy Rundle.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Maloney and sisters, Ethel Megeney, Hazel Long.
Vi is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Monday evening from 7-9 pm. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery. Donations in her memory maybe made to Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of one’s choice. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
