The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, May 5, 2012, of Sarah "Sally" Basler, of Carol Avenue, Summerside, aged 97 years. Born in Boston, MA, USA, she was the daughter of the late George and Euphemia (MacFadyen) Basler. Lovingly remembered by David and Monique Wheeler and family; Terry, Marilyn and Matthew Hamilton; and by Sally’s Angels. Predeceased by her brother Wallace Basler; sister Hilda Folland; brother-in-law Frederick Folland; nephews George and Dale Folland. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 3–5 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated.
