Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 6, 2012, M. Elsie Snelgrove of Lower Island Cove, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Robert; parents: Timothy and Annie Morris; sister: Leah Wheeler; brothers: Eleacor, Arthur, Selby and Jabez. Left to mourn, one daughter: Joan (Charles) Olson, Georgia, USA; special nieces: Trudy Fagan (Christian) and daughter Emily and Beverley Delaney (Neil) and her children: Abbie and Austin; a number of grandchildren; four sisters: Stella Gillingham and Jean Lewis, both of Lower Island Cove, Coey Reynolds and Ethel Morris, both of Blackhead; sister-in-law: Lillian True, Maine, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. John Davis conducted the Funeral service on Thursday, May 10 at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay. Interment took place in the United Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Lower Island Cove.
