Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, May 4, 2012, in her 81st year, Myrtle Preston, beloved wife of Douglas Preston. Loving mother of Marc Preston of Brantford, Ont. Dear sister of Joseph (Tini) Dougay and predeceased by sisters Alice, Edna, Eva and by brothers Edward, Melvin, Amiel, John, Joe. Myrtle Preston was a former employee of Weston's Candy, where she worked for 19 years and a retired employee of Gunther Mele Limited, where she worked for 19 years. A private memorial service will be held at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford, Ont., on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Cremation has taken place.
