Died peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by his parents William J. Carew, C.B.E., and Mary Florence Channing. Leaving to mourn three sisters: Helen F. Carew, Constance (Mrs. H. Myles) Furlong, Frances Powell. Also eight nieces and nephews and many other treasured family members and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Friday May 11th, 2012 at 3 p.m. from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
