Passed peacefully away on May 8, 2012, Bob Gaulton, at his home in Fort McMurray surrounded by his loving family. Bob is survived by his daughter Michelle Bailey (Paul); son Jason; brother Bill (Daphne), St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Mary, St. John’s and Diane, Fort McMurray and his five grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his best friend and soul mate Ollie Moores, mother of his two children. Bob is predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Ellen and brothers: Harry, Jan. 2008 and George, March 2012. Bob was a 30 year employee of Syncrude and was loved and respected by his fellow workmates. He will be missed and remembered by his many life long friends. He was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve for everyone to see. Bob was a devoted father and grandfather. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Service to take place at All Saints Anglican Church, Fort McMurray. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to A.L.S. Society of Newfoundland, in memory of his late brother Harry, c/o Box 844, Corner Brook, NL, A2H 6H6. A service of celebration will be held in St. John’s at a later date.
