Passed away at Blue Crest Nursing Home on Saturday, May 12th, 2012, Freda May of Grand Bank, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents John R. & Jessie May; husband David, daughter Rosie; brothers Robert and Ralph. Leaving to mourn: Daughters Ivy at St. John's, Sheila(Dan) at Lower Sackville, N.S., Colleen(Scott) at Clairmont, AB, Marion(Paul) at Fortune, Joanne(Terry) at Fortune; Son Peter(Kellie) at Grand Prairie AB. 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Brother Gordon(Edith) at Grand Bank; sisters Verna at Halifax, Marjorie at Cavendish, NL, brother-in-law Richard May. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Tim Graham from St. Alban's Anglican Church at 2pm on Tuesday, May 15th.Interment followed at St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Grand Bank. Organist was Velma Stewart. Pall Bearers were: Nicholas Rose, Paul Wells, Justin Wells, Gordon May, Terry Rose & Ches May. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
