CORMIER, DISMAS - Dismas Cormier of Memramcook East passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the age of 80. Born on December 17, 1931 in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Willie Cormier and the late Emma Saulnier. He worked as a bricklayer until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Lucina; three daughters, Gisele Murphy of Shediac, Josette (Pierre) Bertin of Atholville and Ginette Cormier of Bishop Falls, NL; two sons, Rene (Lesley) of Memramcook East and Michel (Nadine) of Grand Barachois; one sister, Anna (late Gilles) Millet of Magog, PQ; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter Parise; one sister-in-law Annie and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Remi (2004), granddaughter Marie (Maryse), six sisters, Marie, Agathe, Philomene, Agnes, Elise and Eugenie and by two brothers Herve and Aime.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Friday, May 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. and on Saturday, May 26 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes church, Memramcook East on Saturday May 26 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
