With heavy hearts and deep regret we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Pat Linden on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at home.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of Mrs. Jerry Linden, Sydney, and the late Art Linden.
He was employed at HP as the facility manager and did some auto body repair.
Pat enjoyed photography, he was never without his camera. He was involved in taekwando.
Pat would always lend a hand when needed. He will be greatly missed.
Pat is survived by his loving wife, Wanda (Gale); his son, Zakk, Sydney; siblings, Donna (Dave) O’Handley, Sydney, Debbie (Bill) Moore, Kingston, Cathy Linden (Don), Alberta, Rene Linden, (Dave), Sydney, Dennis (Bette), Lower Sackville, Terry (Gail), Coxheath, Barry (Ron), B.C. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Iva Gale, Sydney; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Genevieve) Gale, Sydney; close friends, Paul Courage and Ray Sharpe; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was loved and will be missed by his furry friends, J.C., Bubbles and Sparkles.
Besides his father, Art, he was predeceased by his father-in-law, Jake Gale.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life for Pat will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Reception will follow.
