Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012, Bride Mildred Payne at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Emanuel; daughter Margaret (Marvin) Brown of Fort McMurray, Alberta; special and caring grandmother to Kim (Derrick) Hancock of Cow Head, NL, Conrad Brown of St. John's, NL; her great grandchildren: Desiree Hancock (Michael Bavis) of Corner Brook, NL & Brittany Hancock (Daine Hewlin) of Sally's Cove, NL; her brothers: Harold (Marjorie) Payne, Adrian (Carol) Payne; sisters: Mrs. Violet Hewlin & Mrs. Rachel Payne all of Cow Head, NL, Ula (George) Stuckless of Pasadena, NL, Hughena (Con) Brown of Deer Lake, NL & Thelma (Bill) Kassis of Montréal, special nephew/brother Melvin (Rosemarie) Payne of Cormack, NL, special niece/sister Janice (Stu) Gallagher of California, sisters-in-law: Mrs. Annie Reid, Mrs. Mary Payne & Mrs. Bertha Payne; her special sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law of the Decker families of Parsons Pond & Cow Head, mother was predeceased by her five stillborn babies, her parents; Jack & Lucy Payne, mother in law; Mabel Decker, brothers-in-law: Freeman Payne, George Hewlin, Henry Reid, Kenneth Payne, Stanley Payne & Alexander Decker & her niece Anne Smith. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cow Head, today, Wednesday May 23rd, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm and continuing on Thursday, May 24th, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday May 25th, 2012, at 2 pm with Canon: Jean Brenton Hickman officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
