CORMIER, EUCLIDE - 1928 - 2012 - Euclide Cormier, 83, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Sainte-Marie passed away at the Villa on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Born in Sainte-Marie on July 15, 1928, he was the son of the late Clétus and the late Exelda (Arsenault) Cormier. He was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Marines. He will be sadly missed by his brothers: O mer (Noella) of Sainte-Marie, Laurie (Mae) of Pittsfield, Mass, Léo-Paul (Yvonne) of Bradenton Fl, and Roméo (Helen) of Connecticut, and several nieces and nephews. Euclide was predeceased by a sister, Sr Bernice n.d.s.c., and three brothers: Alcide, Normand and Valerie.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent, on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45am. Funeral Mass will be held in the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Church on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Euclide’s memory donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
